A brief history of Spring Grove School

Spring Grove, the house, was built in 1674 by Dr Thomas Brett.
The school was founded founded in 1967 by Col. Stanley Christopherson.

For a large part of its history it has been run and guided by Mr. Washington-Jones as a family school wth a homely atmosphere and emphasis on good manners.

It has recently been set up as a charitable trust and is currently administered by a Board of Governors with Mr Jones as Headmaster.
