Parental involvment

At Spring Grove School, the children benefit from the close relationship that develops between the school and parents: Parents must trust us to educate their children properly, but we welcome parent support and involvement. Every Friday Morning, we hold a Family Assembly, to which all parents are warmly invited. This is a chance to have a cup of tea, to interact with other parents and to watch the children perform and receive their certificates and awards.
There are many other occasions when parents are invited into the school and given a chance to get involved with school life.
The image above was taken in the Art room during the 'Big Draw'. Parents were invited to join their children during an exchange of portrait drawing.  In the summer, a special parent and child camp-night is held on the school sports field.
Parents receive written reports on the progress of their child several times each year. This will not only include academic progress but indicate other aspects of their child’s development.

We have a lively PTA, which, amongst other social events throughout the year, arranges annually what has been described as the biggest and best Summer Ball in Kent!
In a very short time, you would find that your friends and your social life will revolve around Spring Grove. Camp Night
