The School Day
The School day starts at 08.30, though there is an optional early morning Breakfast Club for working parents from 8.00am.
Lessons are 35 minutes long.
There are 5 lessons in the morning separated by a 25 minute break and 4 in the afternoon with a 20 minute break.
During the lunch break there will be about 30 minutes free time in which the children can take up optional activities like table-tennis, computing, technology, basket making and face painting. The time is also used for events like X-country training or choir practice.
The School day ends at 15.00 for our youngest pupils, then on a sliding scale to 16.30.
There are also afternoon clubs daily for all children from Nursery upward until 16.30.
These clubs including after-school crèche are at a cost of £3.00 per session.
Older pupils stay on at School to have homework supervised by their teachers 3 days per week.
An Assembly takes place 3 times a week with parents being welcomed at the Friday Assembly where refreshments are offered.
School matches will often take place on Wednesday afternoons but also on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the younger children.
