Match Reports and Photographs
The Under 9 Girls finished their season unbeaten and have without doubt been the sporting stars this term. Outstanding performances from everybody as they completed the netball/hockey double over a very strong Junior Kings side.

On Thursday they proved far too strong for Lorenden and ran out convincing winners in both matches.

Thursday, 28th Feb
Under 9 Girls Football v Ashford Friars
Every girl in Year 3/4 represented the school yesterday. The A team put their practice into action and scored 5 goals. The B team won their matches and the C team fought hard but were unlucky to lose both of theirs.
Under 9 Hockey v Ashford Friars/Vernon Holme
An excellent tournament saw every team win 1 match. With limited practice the Under 9's fitness and competitive spirit saw them beat VH. with a goal from Hugo. We only conceded one goal all afternoon
Wednesday, 27th Feb
U11 MIXED HOCKEY V WESTBROOK HOUSE
A very exciting match with a fair result.

U10 TAG RUGBY V LORENDEN
The boys completed the double over Lorenden with a comfortable win.
Everybody contributed and showed the boys have progressed well this term
U11 GIRLS FOOTBALL
V ASHFORD FRIARS

Thursday 21st Feb

The best performance this season from the Under 11s. After giving Wellesley a 3 try start SG fought back to win the second half and proved to themselves that they can compete at this level

Both teams performed well with excellent effort and commitment from everybody.

Wednesday 30th January
Netball V Ashford Friars (A)

A big improvement on recent results with the result not a true reflection of the match. Spring Grove had most of the possession and controlled the match for long periods although we couldnt score.
Tuesday 29th January
Rugby V Kings Junior (A)
The boys fought hard against a strong and experienced side. The tackling was brilliant and with more matches under their belt our attacking will improve and we will be more competitve.
SG V Ashford Friars
23rd January
An excellent afternoon at Ashford Friars with the Rugby 1st team playing their hearts out to gain a draw. The team played better as the afternoon wore on and finished much stronger than their opponents. Next week the 1st team have a well-earned break and it is the turn of the Under 10s and Under 9's to show their skills.
A big thank you to Phil Williams for all of his efforts.
Under 11 Girls Football Tournament
Saturday 26th January
An outstanding performance from the Under 11 girls culminating in them winning the competition. A hard fought draw against Ashford A in atrocious conditions started the tournament well. This was followed by comfortable wins against Ashford B and Lorenden. This meant we played in the final against Ashford A and a last minute goal won us the cup
