A Great Place to Grow
Spring Grove in Wye, Kent, is a Nursery and Prep school for children aged 2 – 11, widely known for its family ethos and feel. It is located between Ashford and Canterbury, close to the high-speed train into London. Spring Grove offers a first-class education, preparing children for both grammar and senior independent school entry and scholarships.
What did the inspectors say?
In March 2026 Spring Grove had its first visit since the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) introduced a completely new inspection framework. In 2023, both the Nursery and School were rated ‘excellent’ by ISI. While the graded judgements were no longer applied in 2026, the inspectors found that Spring Grove has ‘a clear educational vision that supports pupils’ progress and personal development across a broad and balanced curriculum’.
