From Nursery through to Prep 6, we work in partnership with parents to ensure the best outcomes for all the children at Spring Grove School. We always welcome parental support and involvement.
Every Friday morning, we hold a Family Assembly, to which all parents are warmly invited. This is a chance to meet other parents over a cup of coffee, and to watch your children perform and receive their certificates and awards. During lockdown, when we are not able to be physically in school, these assemblies have been live-streamed to the entire Spring Grove community.
There are many other occasions when parents are invited in to the school and given a chance to get involved with school life, for example parents come in to assist with reading, to help with art projects, and many volunteer to help at Forest School.
Parents receive written reports on the progress of their child three times each year. These will not only include academic progress but indicate other aspects of their child’s development. You will also be invited to meet with your child’s teachers to discuss progress.
Spring Grove PTA
We are very fortunate to have a dedicated team of parents who run our PTA. The goals of the SG PTA are threefold: to raise money for specific school projects for the benefit of pupils, staff and parents; to provide social activities for parents to enjoy including the famous Spring Grove Summer Ball, and to foster the Spring Grove community.
The PTA ensures there are a number of large and small social gatherings each term and works hard to see that the popular yearly events such as the Summer Ball and the Christmas Fayre run smoothly.
They are a friendly bunch and would love you to get involved. If you have any queries or questions please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
