Wraparound Care and Clubs

We offer wraparound care from 7.30am to 6pm for all children from Nursery to Prep 6.

  • 7.30am – 8.30am         Breakfast Club (in the Sunley Hall)
  • 3.30pm – 4.30pm         Creche (in the Giraffes classroom/garden)
  • 4.30pm – 6.00pm         SG Extra, including packed tea (in the Giraffes classroom/garden)

Due to COVID-19, from September 2020 all wraparound care must be pre-booked 72 hours in advance. Please contact the School Office for more information and to book. Prices are as published on our fees page.

Clubs and Activities for children in Years 1 – 6 are an integral part of Spring Grove and take place during lunch breaks or after school. There is an overall charge to take part in the after-school activity programme, and this payment allows you to choose an unlimited number of staff-run clubs. Some clubs (including tennis, cricket, swimming and ballet lessons) that involve external coaches will incur an extra charge. Wraparound careOur Clubs change from term to term and include:
Wind and Brass Group – learn how to improvise and to play some interesting tunes.  

Music Ensembles – Orchestra takes place on Thursday mornings in the music room.  

Art Club – Art is a very popular subject and our children jump at the opportunity to spend time in the art room working on a variety of projects.

Athletics – Athletics is a very popular and successful sport and a large number of boys and girls are keen to participate in the after-school session aiming towards selection for the IAPS Championships.

Ball Skills – a chance to develop ball skills through a variety of fun games. 

Chess (Years 3-6) – a popular activity for all.

Wraparound careCross-Country – we have built very strong cross-country teams over the past years and this after school club has certainly helped.

Debating and Drama – this is a popular club especially for the older children for developing acting and public speaking skills.

Sewing Club – the children have an opportunity to learn some sewing skills.

Swimming – during the summer months we make full use of the swimming pool with extra sessions for the children.

Other clubs include: Environmental Club, Film Club, Board Games, Science, Computing, Technology, Lego, Rugby, Football, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Wide Games
