What is the Pre-Prep at Spring Grove?
The Pre-Prep at Spring Grove includes our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes. The classes are housed in classrooms in the beautiful 17th-century house that forms the core of the school, and in the Sweetland Pre-Prep building, which was opened in 2023. The Pre-Prep is an exciting time in your child’s educational journey, with the emphasis firmly on ensuring the happiness and wellbeing of every pupil as they continue to develop and grow.
With an excellent staff to child ratio, you can be assured that your child will be supported and challenged to learn at the right pace for them throughout their time in the Pre-Prep.
Children in the Pre-Prep enjoy regular Forest School sessions, specialist Sport, Music and French teaching, swimming lessons in the Summer and Autumn terms, also with a specialist teacher, and a range of trips linked to the curriculum. Each child also has their own Chromebook for use in the classroom.
